FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
2/05/2008 - 'Unlimited' Is What DigiTel Brings to Fairbanks Wireless Market First 1,000 Customers Receive Special $39.99 Rate Plan and Free ROKR

FAIRBANKS, Alaska, Feb. 5 /PRNewswire/ -- DigiTel is entering the Fairbanks wireless phone market with a store opening and a special rate plan for the first 1,000 customers joining the DigiTel network. The Welcome to Fairbanks rate plan is $39.99 per month for unlimited statewide calling -- a savings of $10 per month, which will be honored for the life of the customer -- and a free Motorola ROKR phone.

"We're excited to bring our service to Fairbanks and the surrounding area, and we believe folks will appreciate our competitive rate plans. Our Welcome to Fairbanks special offers a better value for unlimited minutes and one of the hottest phones on the market," Lisa Morrow, Fairbanks manager, said.

According to Morrow, Alaska customers want simplicity and DigiTel's Unlimited rate plans are designed to provide customers simplicity with no counting minutes, no costly overages, and no worrying about calling "in-network" or "out-of-network."

"We're an Alaska company -- managed by Alaskans -- and we want to meet the needs of our local community," said Jeff Roe, Chief Operating Officer. "And as part of the Sprint Rural Alliance,

DigiTel customers also receive great wireless service when traveling outside of Alaska." DigiTel entered into an exclusive, multi-year agreement with Sprint Nextel, one of the nation's premier wireless providers, which will provide DigiTel customers access to Sprint's high-speed data network, SMS and voice outside of Alaska. The DigiTel store, which opened on Feb. 1st, is located at 3637 Airport Road, near the newly remodeled Safeway Center.
