June 21, 2007 -Alaska DigiTel Opens New Storefront in Anchorage
Wireless communication provider Alaska DigiTel recently opened three brand new storefronts in Anchorage, and revamped one of its other Anchorage stores.
The new, full-service stores are located in the Dimond Center, in the Northway Mall, and at 11109 Old Seward Highway, just south of O’Malley Road. DigiTel also gave its store at 3120 Denali Street a complete facelift.
“Our coverage is growing, our services are growing and our customer base is growing, so it makes sense that our stores needed to grow, as well, to support the increased demand,” said Jeff Roe, DigiTel’s Chief Operating Officer.
To celebrate the new stores, DigiTel has planned a series of grand opening events during the month of June. A grand opening celebration, featuring free food, drinks, contests, prizes and special offers, will be held at the 11109 Old Seward store on Saturday, June 23 from 1 – 3 p.m. Another event will be held at the Dimond Center storefront on Saturday, June 30 from 3 – 5 p.m. The Northway Mall and Denali store events were held previously this month.
In addition to the locations on Old Seward, Denali, Northway Mall and Dimond Center, DigiTel also has kiosks at the Muldoon Mall and Sears Mall in Anchorage, and storefronts in Wasilla, Eagle River and Juneau.
